Marist Brothers Ashgrove

Marist Brothers Ashgrove is a Brisbane catholic boys’ day and boarding school. Becentia were engaged directly by the school to provide general lighting, exit and emergency lighting, power and communications services for a refurbished primary school building. The new layout included two general learning areas, a project room and a larger collaboration space. Each of these spaces were provided with power and communications suitable for learnings spaces with services for presentations over screens mounted in the rooms. Each of the general learning areas was lit with linear extrusion luminaires. The smaller of the learning spaces, with recessed downlights. The larger collaboration space included a double height ceiling with exposed timber roof trusses. This space was lit with suspended up/down extrusions from the trusses to highlight the space and structure. The result was a space which is a comfortable, inspiring space for learning and collaboration.

UQ Gatton

Becentia played a key role in the UQ Gatton low voltage upgrade, ensuring a smooth transition of new infrastructure to support the campus’s expanding renewable energy capacity. Our expertise in low voltage reticulation contributed to the safe and efficient installation and commissioning of the upgraded LV system, aligning with UQ’s sustainability vision. Through strategic electrical design and meticulous planning, we helped enhance the campus’s energy resilience, supporting future developments and the goal of becoming an energy-neutral campus.
