FCRC Pialba, Scarness, Torquay, And Burrum Heads Caravan Parks

Fraser Coast Regional Council (FCRC) owns four caravan parks along the beachfront in Hervey Bay. These caravan parks have been in operation for many years. In 2022 the FCRC undertook the task of conducting major works to reconfigure and upgrade the sites to meet current standards and requirements. This included a complete upgrade of the Electrical systems from Main switchboards to the bollards into which the caravans plugged in for power. The designs also included pit and pit infrastructure for power and communications throughout the site. The upgrade also required a complete redesign of the internal street lighting systems. These refurbishments to these popular parks will provide safe and comfortable sites for many families for years to come.

Ed Webb Park Sunshine Beach

Ed Webb park is located at Duke Street, Sunshine Beach. It is renowned for its lush landscapes and inviting atmosphere. This park serves as a serene escape for both locals and tourists, offering a perfect setting for picnics, leisurely strolls, and outdoor activities. In 2022 the Noosa Shire Council embarked on a design project to breath new life and upgrade safety to the park. This included an upgrade of the structures around the site including significant lighting upgrades for both aesthetics and amenity. Strip LED lighting was utilized in the structures and handrail to enhance safety and a variety of spotlight were used to create atmosphere within the park. With a lighting control system and variable colour spotlights illuminating a number of trees, council will be able to change the scenes and mood to tie into other events going on throughout the community. With additional features like phone charging and electric BBQs, the park will be a welcoming place for families to enjoy some quality outdoor time.
